Lizard Wizard (Dexx Colt Files Book 2)
How do you prepare to be a father when your kids might be more dangerous than anything you've ever hunted?
Dexx Colt is going to be a dad. Again. He's already got Leah and Bobby—his unofficial adopted kids—and now he and Paige are expecting twins.
Twins who are witches. Shifters. And possibly capable of leveling a city block if they throw a tantrum.
No pressure.
When Oliver Eastwood's bank gets robbed, Dexx jumps at the case. It's familiar ground. He knows how to blow things up and catch bad guys. What he doesn't know is how to be a father to two kids who might be more powerful than he is.
But when the robbery is followed by a strange theft and the murder of one of Chuck's alphas, Dexx starts to realize this isn't just a case. It's connected to his twins. And what he discovers is terrifying.
Because the twins aren't just powerful. They're a preview of something much bigger.
Lizard Wizard is about fatherhood at the intersection of the impossible. It's about a man who's spent his life running toward danger—and realizing he has no idea how to protect his family from themselves.
